SUSHI KAN VS. 1000 Sushi Islands Inc.
I LOVE SUSHI!!!! So when the all-you-can eat sushi spots started opening in the Ottawa area, I defiantly wanted to try all of them!!! The two I have tried so far (
Sushi Kan had amazingly fast service, friendly waiters and extremely fresh food!!! I loooooove this place!!!!!

Wow…Sushi Kan was awful when we went. I went with 6 people and ordered two dishes, which I received only after ordering them 3 times and then waiting over 45 minutes, while my friends ate. Some people were vegitarians, others couldn’t eat spicy food and others were allergic to seafood, so we could share every dish. They gave us a really hard time because we wouldn’t share 4 dishes at a time, even though there were 6 of us. I’ve been to hundreds or restaurants in the ottawa area and it was one of the worst I’ve been to. watch out.

*** also – there’s a little trick i use – you have to write down your selections on a separate piece of paper that you keep at your table…Or else they’ll just start bringing you random things and you wont remember what you’ve ordered because there were sooo many orders already
Sorry you’ve had a bad time – I guess it really depends on the day and the waiters! I’ve always had a great experience there!
